OUR MISSION IS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THOSE 60 AND OVER IN HARDIN COUNTY.

CELEBRATING AGING HEALTHY IN 2009

This year we are faced with more new challenges as the economy struggles nationwide to gain solid ground. But with preserverance, determination, and the grace of GOD, we will remain dedicated to improving the quality of life for the residents of Hardin County. It is a privilege to work along side a dedicated governing Board of Directors, faithful Advisory Council, a wonderful staff, community entities, numerous volunteers, and clients, as we provide these services.

The goal at the Council on Aging for 2009 is to "Be Active and Age Healthy". We hope you will plan to join us as we provide exciting seminars, special speakers, and useful information concerning aging healthy. We also would like to invite you to join our many exercise routines we provide daily such as Mel's Sit Down Exercises, Tai Chi, Wii Games, Bumper Pool, and others. And, make plans to take low-impact aerobics or work-out in the new HCCoA Exercise Center provided to seniors 60 and over at no cost and to those 59 and under for $1.00 a day or $17.00 per month.
